“I no longer consider you my friend… Sorry.”

I know this is the third time I have posted this, but I don’t think anyone will really understand it. So I will give you some food for thought. (Bag Snake!) These photos have to do with ambiguity, and surface images, and what lies beyond. “Thank You for Shopping Here!” - I like to think about the “Here”, so nondescript. Also I like the idea of an empty shopping bag, the idea, because a commodity doesn’t need to be tangible in a visual sense. These bags are filled with air, cold air, AC air. The black bags don’t allow you to see what you already can not see, but so dearly admire, especially on a hot summer day (as that day was). As for the inside of the bag, it basically turns the whole idea on its head, and tried to discover meaning and value in nothingness. The intricate web of plastic on the inside is activated by the unseen air. Creating a visual representation of the moving air, a new visual commodity. Basically an empty bag isn’t really empty.  Conceptual art, Interesting… but what is it really good for?
